Summer Camp deposits DUE: June 11th
We are returning to Angeles Crest for this year’s Summer Camp on July 9-13! More info to come! But in order to secure a spot, your $100 deposit needs to be in by Sunday, June 11th. The total cost of camp this year is $450. If you need scholarship assistance, reach out to me! We have a generous church family that loves to support the discipleship of our students! If your student is not able to attend, it would be very helpful if you could let me know, thanks!

Escape Room Next Friday, June 9th
Last Thursday, AJ Eisen, one of our freshmen hosted an escape room at our church facility that he masterfully crafted for 10 high schoolers in attendance. It was a success! We are offering it for a second time to everyone else (middle school and high school) in place of youth group on June 9th at 6:30pm SHARP! Don’t miss it!
Youth Group on Wednesdays beginning June 21st
When I started as youth pastor in January, the most consistent question I fielded was, “what night of the week will youth group be on?” I committed at that time to not make any changes through the end of the school year. I didn’t want to loose any one of our students to conflicting schedules. The reality is that everyone is very busy—probably too busy—and no one night works perfectly for all. So I’ve been talking and praying and weighing all the options for the last five months. With that said, I’ve decided that our last Friday night youth group will be the escape room event on June 9th. And we will pick back up again on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, beginning June 21st. I am so deeply sorry if this negatively affects you, your student, or your family. I wish there was an ideal scenario. Wednesdays will generally avoid typical athletic and band conflicts, and provide students with a God-focused midweek check-in between Sundays. Let’s do everything we can to help prioritize your student’s spiritual growth, making the gathering of God’s church a priority. And ultimately, remember that you as parents are their primary disciplers! :) I am here to help you as best as I can.
