After one very long application, four personality tests, a long set of life questions, over-the-phone psych interviews, and one long but incredible eight hour day with a discernment team, we have been invited to join Church Resource Ministries' (CRM) reFocusing team.

I will be working with reFocusing to provide leadership training for churches and leaders through national workshops and one-on-one coaching. reFocusing is leading a missional movement of pastors, ministry leaders, and congregations in to greater influence and impact for the Kingdom of God in their own communities.

We are so excited for this new season of life ministry. I will continue to serve on staff at our church, but I will be officially stepping out my role with RYFO. It has been one long incredible journey of trusting the Lord in new deep ways, and learning so much about myself along the way. So many people have given so much of their time and resources to myself and the RYFO movement. I am so grateful! (I plan on writing a separate post about my RYFO journey someday soon.)

A couple years ago God began to change my heart. He began broadening my eyes to see that a lot of what RYFO was doing inside of the musician community could be leveraged outside of it as well. I began to develop compassion for His Church in new ways, and also began to dream about what it would look like if she were to live in the fullness of what God invites her in to. How could the Church become a predominate presence of love and sacrifice in communities all over the world, in Jesus' name?!

I am so humbled and excited to be a part of a team of leaders who dream about this every day. I know that I will learn a lot from them, and am excited to see what God does!
